O caminhoneiro Sérgio de Jesus Pereira, de 33 anos, que morreu na colisão com um ônibus na BR-364 no último sábado (28), viajava com a esposa e os três filhos para passar o aniversário dele, na próxima segunda-feira (30), em família. A mulher e uma das crianças morreram no local do acidente. Os outros dois filhos estão internados no hospital de Vilhena.
O irmão do motorista, Reginaldo de Jesus Pereira, disse que o chefe de Sérgio havia liberado o caminhão para que ele levasse a esposa e os filhos no caminhão para Goiás para comemorar o aniversário, e que não era comum ele andar com as crianças no veículo.
“Ele viajava com toda a família porque ele iria fazer aniversário nesta segunda-feira e queria estar perto dos filhos”, disse Reginaldo.
O irmão ainda contou que Adriel, de 5 anos, um dos filhos que sobreviveu, ficou em estado de choque. “Meu sobrinho que sobreviveu está em estado de choque, já a Aquila está entubada. A situação dela é crítica”, contou.
Os corpos do caminhoneiro e da filha serão levados para Tarilânda, distrito de Jaru (RO). A mãe da esposa de Sérgio mora em Humaitá (AM) e está viajando para Vilhena para conseguir a liberação do corpo da jovem.

Como foi o acidente?
Um ônibus de passageiros da empresa Bruna Turismo, que seguia na BR-364 sentido Porto Velho, a serviço da Transbrasil, colidiu frontalmente com uma carreta na noite do último sábado (28) entre Vilhena (RO) e Pimenta Bueno (RO). Seis pessoas morreram e 26 ficaram feridas, incluindo seis crianças e duas grávidas.
Cerca de 60 pessoas participaram dos trabalhos no hospital para atendimento às vítimas, entre médicos, enfermeiros, técnicos de enfermagem e assistentes sociais.
A reportagem tentou contato com a Transbrasil, mas não teve as ligações atendidas.

Os sobreviventes
Dois filhos do motorista do caminhão estão internados em Vilhena. Adriel Diniz Pereira, de 5 anos, sofreu uma fratura no fêmur. Aquila Diniz Pereira, de 10 anos, teve uma perfuração no baço e está na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) em estado grave. A família aguarda liberação de um leito de UTI nos hospitais de Cacoal ou Porto Velho para transferência da menina.
Algumas vítimas tiveram escoriações e três passaram por cirurgia, mas o hospital ainda não divulgou o estado de saúde de todas elas.
