Uma cena inusitada chamou atenção nesta tarde de sexta-feira, 27 de dezembro, no centro comercial de Colorado do Oeste. Um cachorro que já estava em estado avançado de decomposição foi sepultado no canteiro central da Avenida Marechal Rondon com a Avenida Amazonas.
O pobre animal, que provavelmente foi vítima de atropelamento de algum veículo, já estava com forte mau cheiro, causando grande incomodo nos comércios em torno.
A reportagem não conseguiu identificar que realizou o sepultamento, que utilizou terra e ainda colocou uma cruz sobre o local. Segundo um morador, o ato foi uma forma de protesto, já que nem o poder público e nem o autor do atropelamento se dispuseram a retirar o animal da via.
As opiniões continuaram divididas sobre o assunto, quando um trabalhador disse que o motorista que atropelou poderia ter feito algo, retirando o animal, ou procurando saber quem era o dono. Um dona de casa que o proprietário poderia ter feito a coleta do cadáver, já que o animal já tem alguns dias morto, e poderia ter sentido a falta do bichinho.
Segundo um comerciante, na prefeitura ninguém atendeu, devido ponto facultativo desde quinta-feira, 26.
