Após os moradores do bairro Barão do Melgaço II fecharem a principal via de acesso ao bairro, a prefeitura iniciou, na manhã desta sexta-feira, 14 de fevereiro, a recuperação da avenida Dedimes Cechinel, em Vilhena, que estava sem condições de trafegabilidade, segundo os manifestantes.
Revoltados com a situação moradores decidiram interditar a avenida que dá acesso a três bairros da região. Na noite de ontem, quinta-feira, o grupo colocou fitas de sinalização de área interditada e pregou cartazes com mensagens de protesto destinas a Antônio Marcelo de Oliveira, secretário municipal de obras. O pedreiro Isaias Pedro, de 39 anos, acredita que a mobilização popular fez efeito. “Era isso que a gente estava precisando. Espero ter condições de entrar e sair da minha casa em uma rua com condição de trafegar”.
Outro que comemora a recuperação da estrada é o auxiliar de serviços gerais Pedro Marques, de 29 anos, ele diz que o maior benefício é facilitar o deslocamento dos moradores.
No bairro vizinho, na manhã do dia 11 de fevereiro, um carro de passeio caiu em uma valeta formada pela água das chuvas e fico atolado.
Após fotos do acidente repercutirem nas redes sociais a Secretaria Municipal de Obras (Semosp), responsável por manter boas as condições de trafegabilidade das vias públicas, ironizou o acidente ocorrido. “Venho informar que a valeta lateral e pra escoação da água das chuvas e não comporta passagens de veículos”, publicou em uma rede social o perfil oficial da Secretaria.
No dia seguinte ao acidente o secretário de obras foi alvo de críticas durante sessão na Câmara de Vereadores. Samir Ali, do PSDB, disse que o secretário deve pedir desculpas publicamente.
