Não é de hoje que a “época de chuva” na cidade de Vilhena representa preocupação e muito transtorno para moradores de diversos bairros da cidade. Os constantes alagamentos, ruas enlameadas, buracos e a falta de escoamento das águas provenientes dos temporais que caem na cidade neste período do ano geram transtornos e muitas vezes prejuízos ao cidadão.
Na manhã desta terça-feira, 11 de fevereiro, um carro de passeio caiu em uma valeta formada pela água das chuvas e fico atolado. A condutora alega que perdeu o controle da direção por causa da pista enlameada e escorregadia. “Agora, é avaliar o prejuízo”, lamentou.
Sem pavimento e esburacada a rua 8207 no bairro Barão do Melgaço I se transformou em armadilha. Os moradores alegam que constantemente a estrada fica sem condições de trafegabilidade, devido à existência de atoleiros e buracos.
Responsável por manter boa as condições de trafegabilidade das vias públicas, a Secretaria Municipal de Obras (Semosp) de Vilhena ironizou o acidente ocorrido. “Venho informar que a valeta lateral e pra escoação da água das chuvas e não comporta passagens de veículos”, publicou em uma rede social o perfil oficial da Secretaria.
Na mesma postagem internautas questionaram o posicionamento da Semosp diante do acidente e publicaram fotos de ruas tomadas por buracos.
No bairro os moradores cobram obras de pavimentação asfáltica, prometida em 2019, pelo prefeito Eduardo Japonês.
