Neste domingo, 03 de junho, será realizada a eleição suplementar que irá decidir qual candidato assumirá a prefeitura da cidade de Vilhena nos próximos dois anos e seis meses. As votação acontecá em escolas e repartições públicas do município, tendo início às 8h00 se encerrando às 17h00.
Neste ano, os eleitores serão identificados através da biometria, quem não fez o cadastro biométrico não poderão votar.
No Brasil, o voto é obrigatório, menos para os menores de 18 anos e eleitores acima dos 70 anos e o voto será facultativo também para os eleitores analfabetos. E para quem não votar e não justificar, a multa prevista poderá chegar ao valor de R$3,51.
Em Vilhena 58.798 mil eleitores estão aptos a votar na eleição suplementar.
